Loading your tickets.

Trades earn 5 tickets and offers earn 1.

Tickets are counted from the forum automatically, so there is nothing to sign up for.

5

tickets for each trade you create

  • The trade lists at least one item.
  • At least one of its items is new: an item that already earned tickets in one of your earlier trades earns nothing again, so relisting the same skins does not help.
  • Its new items are listed at $1 or more together, at their lowest market price when the trade is created. An item with a float under 0.001, with applied stickers listed at $10 or more together, or with no market price qualifies the trade on its own. Trades created before this minimum was added keep their tickets.
  • At most 2 of your trades count per UTC day.
  • The ticket is kept even if you delete or close the trade later, so a trade you create should be one you mean.

1

ticket for each offer you send

  • The offer has items or cash. A message on its own earns nothing.
  • It is on someone else's trade, and it is your first offer on that trade. Offers on your own trades never count.
  • The trader has not declined it as spam. A wrongly reported offer gets its ticket back when an admin reviews the report.
  • At most 5 of your offers count per UTC day.
  • The ticket is kept even if you withdraw the offer or the trader declines it for any other reason.

Your chance equals your tickets divided by all tickets, and the winner is picked by one weighted random draw after the end. A ticket stays even if you delete the trade or withdraw the offer later. Sign in to see exactly which of your trades and offers counted and why the others did not.

Offers have to be real offers.

The forum is for swapping skins, and an offer with nothing in it helps nobody.

An offer is a proposal you would go through with. Lowball and spam offers (a token item or a few cents sent to many trades to get seen, or to farm tickets) bury the real offers a trader has to read, and they break the forum rules whether or not a giveaway is running. They can get an account timed out or banned.

Offers have no price rule. A listed price cannot see a pattern, a float or a sticker premium, so a skin that looks cheap can be the one the trader wants, and a fair offer can start below the listing. An offer earns its ticket as long as it has items or cash, is on someone else's trade and is your first offer on that trade, with at most 5 counted per day.

Instead, the trader decides. A trader can decline an offer as spam, and a spam report takes that offer's ticket away. Admins review every report before the draw, and an offer that was reported without good reason gets its ticket back. Reporting offers to take tickets from other players, like using several accounts or bots, is abuse and gets a person disqualified.

More on the forum's conduct is in the offer etiquette of the Terms of Service.

Official rules

The full rules of the giveaway.

  1. 1. No purchase necessary

Entering costs nothing and nothing has to be bought. Tickets come only from using the free SkinWeb trade forum, and creating trades and sending offers on it is free. Buying a skin, a subscription or anything else does not improve your chances.

  2. 2. Organiser and contact

The giveaway is run by SkinWeb (skinweb.io). Questions about it go to us on Discord or on X at @skinwebio.

  3. 3. Eligibility

You can take part if you hold a SkinWeb account signed in through Steam. You also need a Steam account that can receive trade offers: Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator enabled long enough to avoid a trade hold, no trade ban, and a valid trade link saved on SkinWeb. SkinWeb staff and accounts banned from SkinWeb cannot win.

  4. 4. Giveaway period

It starts on 5 October 2026 at 08:00 UTC and ends on 19 October 2026 at 08:00 UTC (the end moment itself is not included). Only trades and offers created inside that period earn tickets. All times are UTC.

  5. 5. How tickets are earned

You get 5 tickets for each qualifying trade you create on the forum and 1 ticket for each qualifying offer you send on someone else's forum trade.

    A trade qualifies when:

    An offer qualifies when:

    • The offer has items or cash. A message on its own earns nothing.
    • It is on someone else's trade, and it is your first offer on that trade. Offers on your own trades never count.
    • The trader has not declined it as spam. A wrongly reported offer gets its ticket back when an admin reviews the report.
    • At most 5 of your offers count per UTC day.
    • The ticket is kept even if you withdraw the offer or the trader declines it for any other reason.

The trade minimum keeps tickets for real listings. Listed prices come from market data and cannot see a pattern, a float or a sticker premium, which is why a very low float or valuable stickers count on their own. Offers have no price rule. Every trade and offer created inside the period is recorded when it is created, and deleting, withdrawing, declining or closing it afterwards does not remove its ticket. Tickets are counted automatically from these records; there is nothing to register.

A trader can decline an offer as spam. A spam report removes that offer's ticket, and admins review every report before the draw. An offer that was reported without good reason gets its ticket back.

  6. 6. Odds

Your chance of winning equals your tickets divided by all tickets in the draw. The number of entrants and tickets is not known in advance, so the odds cannot be stated beforehand. Holding more tickets raises your odds without making a win certain.

  7. 7. The draw

After the giveaway ends, one winner is drawn by a weighted random draw: every ticket has the same chance, and a number is picked with the cryptographically secure random number generator of the server (Node.js crypto.randomInt). The full ticket table is saved with the result, so the draw can be audited and cannot be run a second time. The draw runs automatically 24 hours after the end, on 20 October 2026 at 08:00 UTC, so that spam reports made near the end are reviewed first.

  8. 8. Winner notification and claim

The winner is notified with a SkinWeb notification, and by email if their account has a confirmed email address, and the result is shown on this page. To claim the prize, the winner joins the SkinWeb Discord and messages an admin with a working Steam trade link within 7 days of the draw. If the winner does not reply in time, is not eligible or does not meet these rules, the prize is forfeited and a new winner is drawn the same way.

  9. 9. Prize

One Navaja Knife (vanilla, no finish) for CS2, sent as a Steam trade offer. Its live market price is shown at the top of this page. There is no cash or other alternative, and the prize cannot be transferred or exchanged. Steam's own trade restrictions can delay delivery.

  10. 10. Taxes

The winner is solely responsible for any taxes or duties that apply to the prize where they live.

  11. 11. Fair play and disqualification

One person may use one account. Second accounts, bots, scripts, offers made only to collect tickets, offers between accounts of the same person, trades made up of items that only move between your own accounts, and any attempt to manipulate forum records or the draw are not allowed. Reporting offers as spam to take tickets away from other players, or to protect your own odds, is abuse of the report feature and is not allowed either. SkinWeb may remove tickets, or disqualify a person, at its discretion if it finds such behaviour, including after the draw. Tickets that do not meet the rules in section 5 are not counted, whatever the intent.

  12. 12. Changes and cancellation

SkinWeb may change, suspend or cancel the giveaway if fraud, a technical fault or another cause outside its control affects how it runs, and will say so on this page. Changes never reduce tickets that already qualified under the rules in force when they were earned unless the rules are broken.

  13. 13. Not affiliated with Valve or Steam

This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Valve Corporation or Steam. Counter-Strike, CS2 and Steam are trademarks of Valve Corporation.

  14. 14. Privacy

Entry uses the data SkinWeb already holds for your account: your username, Steam avatar and forum activity. The winner's username is shown on this page. See the Privacy Policy for how data is handled, and the Terms of Service for the forum rules that also apply, including the offer etiquette.
