About the 3D viewer

The 3D viewer draws any CS2 weapon, knife or glove finish from the game's own textures and paint shaders, at the float and pattern seed you pick. Add stickers, a charm, a StatTrak counter and a name tag, turn the skin to any angle, then save the view as a PNG or open the same skin in CS2 with its inspect link.

How to view a CS2 skin in 3D

  1. 1

    Find the skin

Type part of its name in the search box. Spelling is forgiving: tec-9, tec 9 and tech 9 all find the Tec-9, and a typo or two in a finish name still matches. To browse instead, pick a weapon type and then a weapon. If you have an inspect link for a real item, paste it above the search to load that exact item.

  2. 2

    Set the float and pattern

Drag the float slider to see the wear change, from a clean Factory New to a scratched Battle-Scarred. The pattern seed, from 0 to 1000, moves the finish across the weapon, which matters most on Case Hardened, Fade, Doppler and Marble Fade.

  3. 3

    Add stickers and a charm

Click a sticker slot or the charm in the strip under the viewer. Stickers land on the weapon's factory positions; drag one on the model to put it anywhere, and set its wear, rotation and size in the panel.

  4. 4

Save it or open it in game

Download PNG saves the view as it is turned, 2560 px wide. Inspect link gives you a steam:// link that opens CS2 on this skin, and the csgo_econ_action_preview console command that does the same from the game's console.

3D viewer questions

How accurate is the 3D skin viewer?

The models, textures and paint settings come straight from CS2's game files, and the finish is composited with the same shader logic the game uses for wear, pattern seed and colour. Lighting is the viewer's own, so a skin can look slightly brighter or darker than in a match. For the in-game look, open the inspect link, or hold the skin on one of our inspect servers.

Can I see a specific float and pattern seed?

Yes. The float slider runs from 0 to 1 and the seed field takes any value from 0 to 1000. That is how you check a blue gem Case Hardened, a Fade percentage or a Doppler pattern before you buy one.

How do I get the inspect link for the skin I built?

Press Inspect link under the viewer. It shows a steam://rungame link with Open in CS2 and Copy buttons, and the csgo_econ_action_preview command for the console. Both carry the finish, float, seed, stickers, charm, StatTrak and name tag you set.

How do I use the console command?

Open the CS2 developer console with the ~ key (turn it on under Settings, Game first if it is off), paste the command and press Enter. The game opens its inspect screen on the skin. You do not need to own it.

Can I load my own skin from Steam?

Yes. Copy the inspect link of an item from your Steam inventory or a market listing and paste it into the box above the search. The link is decoded in your browser and loads the item with its float, pattern, stickers where they sit, charm, StatTrak and name tag.

Does the viewer show knives and gloves?

Knives and gloves are in the catalogue under their own weapon types. Stickers and charms do not go on them, the same as in the game.

Why does a skin show a picture instead of a 3D model?

A few finishes, usually the newest ones, do not have a 3D model on the site yet. They show the Steam picture until one is added.

Can I use the PNG I download?

Yes. The image carries a faint skinweb pattern behind the skin. Include details adds the name, float, pattern, stickers and charm along the bottom, and Include back side puts the other side of the skin under the front.
