About the CS2 skin render studio
The render studio puts up to three CS2 skins in a 3D scene, with their stickers, charm, StatTrak counter and name tag, and saves the result as an image. It runs in your browser, needs no download, and is free to use.
How to make a render
- 1
Pick a scene and a texture quality
Open the Scene panel, choose Fast, High or Ultra textures (1K, 2K or 4K set dressing), then choose one of the scenes. Each scene sets the lighting, the camera move and where the skins sit.
- 2
Add skins
In the Skins panel, press Add a skin. Under Any skin you search the whole catalogue. Under Your skin you paste an inspect link, or load a player's public inventory from a trade link, a profile link or a SteamID.
- 3
Set stickers, a charm, StatTrak and a name tag
Each skin has a Stickers tab and a Charm tab. A skin imported from an inspect link keeps its stickers exactly where they are in the game. You can also open the sticker placer to drag a sticker to any spot on the weapon.
- 4
Place the skins, then light and frame the shot
Drag to orbit the camera and use the mouse wheel to zoom. The Move and Rotate tools place a selected skin, and the gravity button drops the skins onto the floor of scenes that have one. The Lights, Camera and Look panels change light colours, the lens and the colour grade.
- 5
Choose a size and download
In the Export panel each size has its own download button. The scene is rendered again at that size with the camera refitted, so a portrait shot still holds the whole weapon. Copy a link to the shot from the toolbar to share the exact setup.
Render studio questions
Is the CS2 skin render studio free?
Yes. There is no fee to render or download an image. Adding your own skin from an inventory only needs a public Steam inventory.
Can I render my own skin with its real stickers and float?
Yes. Paste an inspect link under Add a skin, Your skin, and the studio decodes it in your browser: the skin, pattern, float, stickers with their exact positions, charm, StatTrak count and name tag come out of the link. You can also paste a trade link, a profile link or a SteamID to list a public inventory and pick from the skins that have a 3D model. Weapons and knives have models.
Does the studio need my Steam login or password?
No. Importing from a trade link, profile link or SteamID reads the public inventory only, and the token inside a trade link is not sent anywhere. If your inventory is private, paste an inspect link from the game instead.
How many skins fit in one render?
Up to three skins in a scene. The Banner scene, which puts your own text in 3D, takes up to twelve.
What image sizes can I export?
Eight: 4K (3840 by 2160), desktop wallpaper (2560 by 1440), Discord (1920 by 1080, kept under 10 MB), X post (1600 by 900, under 5 MB), X header (1500 by 500, under 2 MB), Instagram (1080 by 1350), story or phone (1080 by 1920) and square (2048 by 2048). If a PNG is over the limit of its destination, it is re-encoded as a JPEG until it fits.
What is the ray-traced export?
An option in the Export panel for the Studio, Black Market, Safehouse, Museum and Frostbite scenes. It replaces the live preview with a path-traced image, which adds real reflections, shadows and bounce light. It is slow, from under a minute to several minutes per image depending on the size and your graphics card, and it renders one size at a time. Draft, High and Max set the number of light samples.
Is there a watermark on the images?
Yes. A small skinweb mark is drawn on every exported image and shown in the preview.
Do the colours in the render match the in-game skin?
The skin is baked from the game's own paint kit data, so the finish, pattern and wear follow what the game uses. Scene lighting changes how any skin looks, so a render under a neon sign will not match a daylight screenshot. The Studio scene with its neutral backdrop is the closest to a catalogue picture.
Does it work on a phone?
The studio opens on a phone, with the panel under the view, and it needs WebGL. Ultra textures and ray-traced exports are heavy, so use Fast textures on an older phone.

What people use renders for
Discord and X posts
The Discord and X post sizes keep the file under each platform's upload limit, so a render can be dropped straight into a message, a post or a profile header.
Trade showcases
Import the exact skin with its stickers from an inspect link and render it in the Studio or Museum scene. A buyer sees the real pattern, float and sticker placement rather than a stock image.
YouTube thumbnails and wallpapers
The 4K and desktop wallpaper sizes are 16:9 and large enough to crop. Banner puts a title in 3D next to the skins for a thumbnail or channel art.
